The annual All-State Music Festival is one of the most prestigious music events in the state, featuring the top high school musicians and vocalists from around Iowa. Students must audition to be selected to perform in the 276-piece All-State Band, 214-piece All-State Orchestra, and 601-member All-State Chorus. The selection process is very competitive, with only about 17% of auditionees being selected, making it one of the highest individual honors a high school performer can receive
We would like to congratulate all the CRCSD students who have been selected for the Iowa All-State Band, Orchestra, and Choir. This year’s All-State Festival Concert will be presented to the public at 7:30 PM on November 23rd at the Hilton Coliseum on the Iowa State University Campus. The performance will be broadcast on Iowa PBS on November 28th and December 1st. Please check the Iowa PBS website (www.iowapbs.org) for the exact times.
