You are invited to an exciting STEM Day opportunity that is happening here in our community. This is the second annual Community STEM Day. We enjoyed all the response last year and hope for an even more participation this year. This event being hosted by SE Iowa STEM Council and will take place on Thursday July 17th from 9:00 AM until 2:00 PM it will be located at the Collins Aerospace campus. This event is STEM themed and will be geared towards kindergarteners through 12th graders. We will have market style booths set up outside with fun and engaging activities for students of all ages. We will have workshops such as robots, prostatic hands, drones, light-up cards, and lab tours available (these will require pre-registration, it will open the first week of June) please see the attached flyer for distribution. We will also have a large variety of Food Trucks, they will be serving breakfast, lunch, and snack foods for you to purchase. We hope to see you for this great event full of STEM learning fun.
