Details
We are inviting teen drivers with learner’s permits and their parents/guardians to participate in a research study at the University of Iowa that is testing a parent-focused teen driving program. This program seeks to help parents/guardians better prepare their teens for independent driving by focusing on training teens to anticipate hazards on the road before they become critical. Participation requires two 90-minute visits to the Driving Safety Research Institute in Coralville, IA. The visits involve using a state-of-the-art driving simulator and answering online questionnaires. Parents/guardians and teens will each be paid $70 for completing all study procedures.
