A new addition to Jefferson High School’s after-school activities, the Blacksmithing Club was started by Mr. Rawlins to provide students an opportunity to try their hand at something new. The club meets each Tuesday after school outside the Industrial Technology wing. Jefferson students who are interested are encouraged to contact Mr. Rawlins for more information.

JHS Blacksmithing Club strikes a pose

Mr. Rawlins would like to thank all the donors that helped to make the club a reality. Specifically, a BIG THANK YOU to AmeriGas for providing the propane tanks, Crandic Railroad for the railroad-track anvils, Atlas Force for the knife kit, and Richard Heller at Metal Supermarkets for the various metals and anvil-shaped objects.
