Our Jefferson, Kennedy, and Washington High School boys golf teams are off to impressive starts this year.

Logan Miller, Jefferson junior, became the first conference divisional J-Hawk golfer medalist earlier this week at St. Andrews Golf Course. Miller told The Gazette, “It’s nice to put Jefferson on the map.”

Washington’s golf team won this week’s MVC Mississippi Division meet at Brown Deer Golf Club, with senior Nile Petersen earning the top spot.

The Kennedy golf team is having a stellar year, having won the last six invitationals in a row. “Currently we have five of the top 10 individual scores after two rounds of the conference tournament,” explains Kennedy head coach, Mike Green.

Congratulations to our high school golfers, and we look forward to seeing your efforts during the remainder of the fall season!
