As we honor the wonderful history of Truman Elementary School, built in 1961, an open house will be held May 22, 2022, from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. All former staff, students, families, and community members are welcome to attend. We hope to see you there!

Truman will close at the end of this school year as an elementary school within the Cedar Rapids Community School District and reopen as Truman Early Learning Center in August 2022. Please join us to honor the past and cheer on the future.
