On Thursday, 610 Viola Gibson preschool through fifth grade students took part in the Read-a-palooza 2023 event. Throughout the day students took reading breaks for a “reading reset” reading. The idea came from the Gibson teacher reading committee, who wanted students to remember that reading is “FUN!” Each Gator student received a new book and got to hear from local community leaders sharing different genres of books.
