Celebrate the love of reading all summer long! The Summer Reading Challenge starts June 6 and runs through August 8, 2026. Read 600 minutes to complete the Challenge. Enjoy special events for all ages, earn reading badges, and visit the library for prizes. Complete the challenge to be entered in the grand prize drawing. Keep reading and receive an entry into the grand prize drawing for every 600 minutes read.

Pick up a print version of your favorite reading log at the library. While you’re there, grab your special Snack Tote and other supplies to get started on your summer reading.

Summer Kickoff: Giant Games! Saturday, June 6, 10 am-noon Ladd Library
Kick off Summer Reading with an inflatable obstacle course, giant Jenga, giant Connect Four, giant Bananagrams, and other activities. This program is generously supported by TrueNorth.
